2. Our Products
All products sold on this website are handcrafted in limited runs by The Vintage Equestrian Stock Company.
As items are handmade:
- Minor variations in colour, finish, or texture may occur
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only
These variations are a natural part of the handmade process and are not considered defects.
3. Prices & Payment
- All prices are shown in GBP (£)
- Payment must be made in full at the time of order
We reserve the right to amend prices at any time, but this will not affect orders already placed.
4. Order Acceptance
An order is only considered accepted once:
- Payment has been received, and
- You have received an order confirmation email
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in rare circumstances (for example, if a product is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred). If this happens, any payment taken will be refunded in full.
5. Delivery
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
- Dispatch times may vary depending on stock availability
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Courier services
- Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer
Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the order has been delivered.
6. Returns & Refunds
Your Right to Return
Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery.
Conditions of Return
Returned items must:
- Be unused and in their original condition
- Be returned in original packaging where possible
You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item:
- We will notify you of approval or rejection
- Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs
If the item is confirmed to be faulty, we will offer:
- A replacement, or
- A full refund, including reasonable return postage costs
Handmade Items
Due to the handmade nature of our products:
- Minor variations in appearance may occur
- These variations are not considered faults
Future Personalised or Made-to-Order Items
If we offer personalised or made-to-order items in the future, these will not be eligible for return unless faulty. This will be clearly stated at the point of purchase.
7. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and must follow the returns process outlined above.
8. Use of Goods / Resale
Products purchased from The Vintage Equestrian Stock Company are sold for personal use only.
Goods may not be purchased for the purpose of resale, redistribution, or commercial use under any circumstances without prior written consent from us.
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse or cancel orders where we believe items are being purchased for resale
- Limit quantities per customer
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
